Herdade da Comporta presents a rich flora, with vibrant colors, sandy soils and a temperate climate that helps us to develop the best agricultural and horticultural products.
Currently about 50 thousand tons of agricultural and horticultural products leave the property, 2300 trucks a year

Sweet Potato
The sweet potato was brought by immigrant workers who settled in Comporta at the beginning of the 20th century. It spread in such a way that it became part of our gastronomy. All farmers at Comporta proudly produce sweet potatoes, improving their production every year.
All production is done with love and manually, as well as the control of fields, weeds and harvest. Our potatoes are harvested manually one by one and this special care is mirrored in potatoes with an incredible appearance and a unique flavor.
